Feeling like the system is designed to squeeze regular people isn’t paranoia when you can point to the incentives. We start with a raw, local example: an ICE raid at a Washington construction site and what it says about wages, job competition, and why “it helps the economy” sounds different depending on whether you write policy or swing a hammer.

From there, we zoom out to the big picture: globalism, offshoring, and how trade policy hollowed out manufacturing while inflating assets. We talk through the generational math behind housing affordability, why so many younger families feel locked out, and how expectations got reset by decades of cheap credit. We also wrestle with a hard tension: the system can be broken and you still have to take responsibility for your own next step, because no safety net works well when fraud and apathy are baked in.

The second half shifts into trust and verification: Washington State’s mail-in voting model, USPS barcode rules, postmarks, drop boxes, voter roll scrubs, and the growing national spotlight on election administration. That leads naturally into surveillance and security, from leaked driver’s license scans and Real ID concerns to “control grid” tech like cameras and satellite tracking. We close with money and sovereignty: Bitcoin’s rise, the idea of a US strategic Bitcoin reserve, self-custody, and why regulation like the Clarity Act has people arguing about freedom versus tracking.
